Ameriprime Hospice understands that caregivers and family members may need time to rest or manage personal responsibilities. When a break is necessary, we arrange for the individual to be temporarily transferred to an inpatient respite care facility. This service is provided through a Medicare-approved facility, such as a contracted nursing home, ensuring proper medical supervision. Our team handles all coordination, making the process smooth and minimizing any inconvenience for the family. This temporary care option allows caregivers to step away while ensuring continued support for the individual.
Respite care can be provided for up to five days at a time. Individuals may receive this service more than once but only on an occasional basis.
